Raymone Jackson, CLU, ACS, FLMI
Director, Diversity & Inclusion, Northwestern Mutual
Raymone Jackson is the Director, Diversity & Inclusion responsible for establishing and advancing the corporate vision for diversity and inclusion within the home office. This includes leading the planning, development, recommendation and implementation of innovative diversity programs and initiatives connected to corporate strategy.
Raymone has a nearly 20-year career with Northwestern Mutual joining the organization as a college intern prior to accepting a full-time opportunity within the Information Systems department. Over the course of his career, Raymone has had the opportunity to grow an impact within Corporate Strategy and Career Distribution. While in Career Distribution, Raymone was accountable for growing the field distribution footprint in the Western region in the area of recruiting, internship, leader development and advisor productivity prior to taking on an expanded leadership role. In this capacity, he set the strategic direction for a distribution-wide consulting team that partnered with field leaders to assess and make recommendations regarding the systems that drive the growth and health of under 5-year development systems. Among his many accomplishments at Northwestern Mutual, launching the African American Employee Resource Group and the larger ERG platform and market efforts, serving as Co-Chair of the diversity and inclusion executive committee, receiving the Patriot Award from the Department of Defense, 40 Under 40 nominee and Milwaukee Times Black Excellence Award nominee are ones for which he is the most proud.
Jackson earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and holds an MBA. He also earned his certificate in commercial real estate via the Associates in Commercial Real Estate Program at Marquette University, his CLU certification from American College, and his ACS and FMLI designations from Life Office Management Association. Jackson is also a Certified Master Coach.
In addition to his career at Northwestern Mutual, Raymone is owner and principal of a Commercial Real Estate Development Company, specializing in affordable, multi-family housing. He is active in the community supporting several non-profit organizations focused on the empowerment and development of young people.
Raymone always makes time to foster his passion for travel, outdoor activities, movies and spending time with family and friends.
